This Is Abhinaba Dutta

Abhinaba Dutta is a filmmaker, film director, actor, script writer and an international trilingual writer. Dutta hails from Howrah, West Bengal, India and, is a B.A. English Literature (Honours) graduate from Calcutta University. He is also a book editor, graphic designer and a publisher.

He has co-authored in many anthologies and magazines. Abhinaba Dutta is the compiler-author of the anthologies- "Love Lust Licentiousness", "But the Heart Still Wants", "Make Your Fears, Fear You" and "The Delusional Dandelions". Till now he has co-authored in more than 50 anthologies. He is the founder of Purple Cloud Productions - a film production company. He is also the founder of The Literary Bridge Publication, a book publishing company

He has ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and many co-morbidities such as Chronic Depression, Chronic Anxiety, Hypochondriasis, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) etc. And because of this, he has been suffering since his childhood. But still he did not give up and completed his graduation. In 2018 he was diagnosed with Adult-ADHD. Since then, he is on anti-depressants. He has been constantly trying to raise awareness amongst people about mental disorders.

Dutta has won many poetry competitions and recitation competitions. He was featured in the African magazine, Africa Yard Creative Magazine. His poems were published in the international magazine called Makata Magazine. He, along with his fellow poets was featured in the national newspaper Prabhat Khabar. In addition to that he has been invited as an honourable judge to judge a poetry competition. He has been invited to many national and international open mic events, both in online and offline mode. He is also an actor, blogger, script writer and a photographer.
